Characteristics
Fire offers comfort and warmth on the one hand but can also destroy
and burn if left unattended or allowed to get out of control. It is
an element that is powerful and needs to be respected. When using
fire it is often wise to use only a small amount to stimulate the
Feng Shui cycle you are looking at. Add too much and it can be too
powerful. An example would be containing in a hearth or rinmg of stones.
This is controlled. If the fire is allowed to get out of hand it can
create a forest fire. Add too much fire of the fire element as a Feng
Shui cure and it can have a destructive effect instead of a positive
one.

Fire
People
Fire people tend to be passionate & spirited about life. They
make very good leaders and are self-driven. Fire people are also
creative. If nothing is happening in their lives they are very good
at creating a spark to get things on the move. A Fire person likes
a new challenge and look for new things to take their interest.
This sometimes means they have a tendency not to look carefully
at something before leaping into it. Great successes can be created
where things go their way. Conversely problems can be created when
things don't go as they would hope. Fire people like to be the centre
of attention. They make very good speakers but are not very good
listeners. They can be very flamboyant and passionate about life.
In times of adversity Fire people make good warriors, going into
battle as needed. Balance is a problem for the Fire person for without
it they lack Patience.
